Understanding housing as a human right as opposed to a commodity, and taking proactive steps to end the homelessness crisis

Promoting the building of wealth and assets  for communities of color through homeownership, community-led innovation, and security​

Empowering folks affected by evictions, homelessness, and foreclosures to participate in local, state, and federal decisions affecting their lives​

Pursuing policies that protect tenants, prevent evictions, preserve affordable housing and construct affordable housing to meet the community’s needs 

​Centering the needs of the unhoused, unstably housed, and those disproportionately impacted by housing costs when making decisions around homelessness and housing policy​

Decriminalizing homelessness and recognizing that people need housing first before any other struggles can be addressed
